Each edition of Doc’s Kingdom – International Seminar on Documentary Film is curated by one or two programmers invited or, since 2023, selected through an international open call. We’re now accepting curatorial proposals for the 2025 edition, to be held next November in Odemira, Portugal, in the year that marks the 25th anniversary of the Seminar.

Film and moving image programmers of all nationalities who have attended at least one previous edition of Doc’s Kingdom are welcome to apply.

Proposals should be sent by April 13th before midnight (GMT).

 

Applications must be submitted via the online form below and should include: a summary of the curatorial proposal, a letter of motivation, a short biography, CV/portfolio, and a brief description of three past curatorial experiences in film or moving image.
