Introducing a new collaborative sound piece made by the Dear Doc Fellows, an experimental collage of sounds collected, created, and recorded during Doc’s Kingdom 2024, in Odemira.

This documentary sound piece weaves together a constellation of words, thoughts, sensations, and memories from the 2024 Seminar: “Ways of Listening”. It brings together diverse voices and soundscapes, film excerpts, reflexions, and field recordings captured throughout the Seminar. Rather than aiming to create an objective and comprehensive archive of the Seminar, the assembled fragments create a horizontal and plural narrative, which invites listeners to think about sound and listening, the ethics and politics of documentary sound practices.
